Tutor Marked Assignments [TMAs]
Some of the units also require practical work. The final assessment for each unit is an interview with the student and the unit tutor. This enables the tutor to authenticate the student's work and confirm the grade of the award. These interviews will normally be conducted by the student's support centre and can be done in person or (under certain conditions) by telephone.

What are TMAs?

TMAs or Tutor Marked Assignments are a means of continuous assessment. They contain a series of questions/assignments which can be used to satisfy the performance criteria necessary to qualify for certification.

Practical Work

Some units require practical work. Facilities for practical work should be arranged with the support centre before course commencement.
