PRACTICAL KITS Several of the electronic modules require practical work to be done. COLU has developed practical kits to enable this work to be completed by distance learning students at home. Students studying directly with COLU will be loaned these kits as required, for no extra charge (except for the return carriage cost). Other centres wishing to offer these modules must ensure that they have suitable pratical facilities to enable students to complete the work. Details of specific requirements can be obtained from COLU. SOFTWARE Some HNC modules require specific software to be used. Wherever possible COLU has used free software but in some cases it is necessary for the student to have access to commercially produced software packages.
