This series of programmes has been developed to meet training needs of a range of industries including: Process, Oil, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Food and Drink, Health Sector, Utilities [Power and Gas]

New trainees, experienced process operators and technicians can all benefit from the Industrial Processing Series as it provides excellent opportunities for updating or broadening skills.

The Award Structure

The format of the Industrial Processing Series enables individual study plans to be compiled. Units can be studied singly or in selected groups and all study patterns can lead to City & Guilds certification. Programmes can be selected from:

Routes of Entry

There is open access to the units, subject to entry with a reasonable expectation of success. Admission to a course is at the discretion of the support centre.

Progression

C&G Programmes make a major contribution to the underpinning knowledge required for NVQs at various levels. There is also a progression to higher level qualifications, available again through COLU open learning materials.
